Before you begin

If using a physical SIM card, make sure there's a SIM card is inserted into the device before powering on.

Steps

  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the device powers on. Select your language then tap

  2. Confirm the correct phone number displays then tap

  3. Sign in to your Google™ account or create a new one.
  4. To set up your phone using your previous data, select a device from the list or tap

  5. Set up a screen lock to secure your device.
  6. Follow the onscreen prompts to review and accept the Google Services options (e.g., Data backup, Location, etc.).
  7. Tap
    Next
     to add additional storage with Verizon Cloud.
  8. Follow the prompts to add personal or corporate email accounts.
  9. Sign in to your Samsung account to access Galaxy-specific features and accept terms and conditions.
  10. Tap
    Next
     to do any further customization.

    Got it
     to complete setup.
