Power Saving mode helps extend battery life on your Galaxy J3 V / Galaxy J3 (3rd Gen.) by reducing performance and limiting vibration, location services, and most background data.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Device care
    Battery
    Power mode
    .
  3. Select one of the following:
    • Optimized
      : Get the recommended balance of performance and battery life.
    • Medium power saving
      : Extend battery life by limiting some functions.
    • Maximum power saving
      : Save as much battery as possible.
  4. Configure the following settings then tap
    Apply
    :
    • Restrict background data
      Enabled when a checkmark is present.
    • Limit CPU speed
      Enabled when a checkmark is present.
    • Brightness (e.g., -5%, -10%, No decrease)
