Here's how to manage emergency alerts (e.g., AMBER Alerts, etc.) for your Galaxy J3 V / Galaxy J3.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    More connection settings
    Wireless Emergency Alerts
    .
  3. Tap
    Settings
    .
  4. Tap
    Alert type
    .
  5. Tap any of the following to turn on or off:
    Presidential alerts cannot be turned off.
    • Extreme alert
    • Severe alert
    • AMBER alert
    • Public safety alerts
    • State / local test alerts
    • Emergency alert messages
  6. Tap the
    Back arrow
     Back icon.
  7. Tap
    Vibrate
     to turn on or off.
  8. Tap
    Alert reminder
     then select one of the following:
    • Once (default)
    • Every 2 minutes
    • Every 15 minutes
    • Off
  9. Tap
    Speak alert message
     to turn on or off.
