Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8.0) - Adjust Account Sync Settings

Here's how to view and adjust sync settings on your Galaxy Tab A (8.0) if you're not receiving email and app notifications.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Accounts
    .
    If multiple accounts appear, select the appropriate email address.
    To turn on master sync for all account types tap
    Auto sync data
     to turn on.
  3. Tap the desired account (e.g. Cloud, Email, Google, etc.).
  4. Tap
    Sync account
    .
  5. Turn the sync settings on or off as preferred.
    The settings presented vary depending upon account type.
    To perform a manual sync:
    1. Tap the
      Menu icon
       Menu icon.
    2. Tap
      Sync now
