Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8.0) - Move Files from Internal Storage to SD / Memory Card

Here's how to move files from internal storage on your Galaxy Tab A (8.0) to an SD / memory card.

To perform the steps below, an SD / Memory card must be installed.

From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.

Tap

My Files

My Files is located in the

Samsung folder

by default.

Tap

Internal storage

then navigate to the directory/folder that contains the file(s).

Tap the

Menu icon

(upper-right).

Tap

Edit

Select (check) the desired file(s).

To select all files, tap

All

(upper-left).

Tap

Move

(bottom).

From the My Files menu (left), tap

SD / Memory Card

If necessary, navigate to the appropriate directory (where you want to put the files).

Tap

Move here

(lower-right).
