Removing a Google™ (Gmail™) account from your Galaxy Tab A (8.0) can be helpful when switching accounts, troubleshooting login or email sync issues, or ensuring your data stays private.
  1. Open the
    Settings app

  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Accounts
    .
  3. Select the applicable Gmail address.
  4. Tap
    Remove account
    .
  5. To confirm, review the notification then tap
    Remove account
