KYOCERA DuraForce PRO 2 - Add a Virtual Private Network

Here's how to add a virtual private network (VPN) to your DuraForce PRO 2 to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your online identity via a secure remote server.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap the
    Add icon
    Add icon.
  4. If presented with a lock screen notification, tap
    SET LOCK
    .
    Refer to Set Up Screen Lock for assistance.
  5. From the Name field, enter the appropriate name.
    If needed, contact the VPN administrator for assistance with server info and credentials.
  6. From the Type field, tap the
    dropdown menu
     dropdown menu icon then select the VPN type.
  7. Enter the required info into the applicable fields then tap
    SAVE
    .
    If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the following options, which may vary depending on the selected VPN type:
    • DNS search domains
    • DNS servers
    • Forwarding routes
    • OCSP Web address
