Set Lock Screen Notifications

Choose whether messages and alerts show in full, remain private or stay silent while the screen on your Galaxy S10 / S10+ / S10e is locked.

Before you begin

Lock screen notifications are only available if a screen lock is enabled.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Lock screen
    Notifications
    .
  3. Tap the
    Notifications switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. When on, configure any of the following:
    • View style
    • Hide content
    • Notifications to show
    • Show on Always On Display
