Teletypewriter (TTY) settings allow text communication on your Galaxy S10 / S10+ / S10e during calls, which is helpful for hearing or speech challenges.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. Tap the
    3-dot Menu
     then tap
    Settings
    .
  3. Navigate:
    Real Time Text
    RTT call button
    Always visible
    .
  4. Tap the
    Back arrow
    .
  5. Tap
    Use external TTY Keyboard
     to turn on.
  6. Tap
    TTY mode
    .
  7. Select one of the following:
    • TTY Full
      : Enables all TTY settings
    • TTY HCO
      : Enables HCO (Hearing Carry Over)
    • TTY VCO
      : Enables VCO (Voice Carry Over)
