Transfer Content with Quick Start

When you get a new Apple® iPhone®, Quick Start is the fastest way to move your photos, contacts, apps and settings. This process happens during the initial setup for your new phone.

Before you begin

This method occupies both devices, so make sure to set a time when neither device is needed for several minutes.
Ensure your new device is connected to Wi-Fi and plugged into the charger.
If any content is missing on your new device, determine whether content needs to be moved from other cloud services (e.g., Verizon Cloud, Google™, etc.). For more info on missing content, visit this Apple® support page.
Keep the two devices close to each other while your info, settings and passwords are transferred.
