Here's how to extend battery life, view charging status / remaining battery and determine what uses the most power on your Tab 4 8 PLUS.

Open the

Settings app

Tap

Battery

Tap the

Battery icon

Review the Past and predicted usage graph.

Battery life is measured by standby time, talk time and data usage.

Review the 'Breakdown since last full charge' section.

To improve battery life, you can:

Stop running apps that are not being used.

Disable apps that are consuming too much battery or RAM and not being used.

Contact the app developer if an app appears to cause excessive battery drain.

Adjust brightness to the lowest setting.

Turn off GPS when not in use.

If turned off, certain apps or services may not work properly.

Turn off Wi-Fi when not in use.

If turned off, certain apps or services may not work properly.

Change account sync settings to the lowest frequency.

Remove widgets that automatically update.
