Here's how to delete a personal / corporate email account from your Tab 4 8 PLUS often fixes email issues.

If you need assistance with removing a corporate email account, contact your Exchange / IT admin.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Users & accounts
    .
  3. Tap the appropriate email address.
    Multiple accounts may appear.
  4. Tap
    REMOVE ACCOUNT
    .
  5. Review the notification then tap
    REMOVE ACCOUNT
     to confirm.
