Alcatel Avalon - Manage Wireless Emergency Alerts

Here's how to manage emergency alerts (e.g., AMBER Alerts, etc.) for your Avalon.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
    Apps & notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    Advanced
    .
  4. Tap Wireless
    Emergency Alerts
    .
  5. Tap the following switches to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    Presidential alerts can't be turned off.
    • Extreme threats
    • Severe threats
    • AMBER alerts
    • Public safety alerts
    • State/local test alerts
  6. Tap
    Cell Broadcast messages
     to view previous alerts.
  7. Tap
    Alert reminder
     then select the preferred option (e.g., Once, Every 2 minutes, etc.).
