Add / Remove a Wi-Fi ConnectionConnect your Galaxy A50 to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on.
- Do one of the following:
- To connect to an available Wi-Fi network:
- Tap the preferred Wi-Fi network.
- Enter the password then tapConnect.
- To manually connect to a Wi-Fi network:
- TapAdd network.
- From the Network name field, enter the name.
- From the Security field, tap theDropdown menu.
- Tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, WPA / WPA2-Personal, etc.).
- From the Password field, enter the appropriate password.
- Ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately then tapSave.
- To remove a Wi-Fi connection:
- Tap the3-dot Menuthen tapAdvanced.
- TapManage networksthen tapDelete.
- Select (check) the Wi-Fi network you wish to remove then tapDelete.
