Samsung Galaxy A50
Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

By adjusting screen settings (e.g., Brightness, Font Size and style, Screen timeout, etc.) on your Galaxy A50, you can reduce eye strain, improve visibility and extend battery life.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Display
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To adjust brightness:
      1. From the Brightness section, move the
        slider
        left or right to adjust the amount of brightness.
      2. Tap
        Adaptive brightness
        to turn on or off.
    • To adjust font settings:
      1. Tap
        Font size and style
        .
      2. Touch and hold the
        blue dot
        then drag it left or right to adjust the font size.
      3. Tap
        Font style
        then select an option (e.g. Default, SamsungOne, etc.).
      4. Tap the
        Back arrow
        to return to Font size and style.
      5. Tap the
        Bold font switch
        to turn on or off.
      6. Tap the
        Back arrow
        to return to the Display settings screen.
    • To adjust display settings:
      1. Tap
        Screen timeout
        then select an option (e.g., 15 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.).
      2. To control what happens when the phone is charging, tap
        Screen saver
        then select an option (e.g., Colors, Photo Table, etc.).
      3. Tap the
        Back arrow
        to return to the Display settings screen.
      4. Tap
        Screen zoom
        , touch and hold the
        blue dot
        then drag it to the preferred option.
