Turn App Permissions On / Off

Apps installed on your Galaxy A50 may request access to certain device features. You can review and change these permissions any time to suit your needs.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
  3. Locate then select an app.
  4. If available, tap
    Permissions
     (Privacy section) then do one of the following:
    • To allow an app permission:
      1. From the 'Denied' section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
      2. Tap an option other than deny (e.g., 'Ask every time' or 'Allow only while using the app'.
      3. Tap the
        Back arrow
         to return to the 'App permissions' screen.
    • To deny an app permission:
      1. From the 'Allowed' section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
      2. Tap
        Deny
        .
      3. If prompted, review the message then tap
        Deny anyway
         to confirm.
