moto z4 - Manage Contactless Payments

Here's how to use the 'Tap & pay' service with your moto z4.
The 'Tap & pay' service manages payment apps; however, it doesn't apply to Android Beam and won't include certain apps such as money transfer apps.
  • When NFC is turned on, you can use 'Tap & pay' to pay for items just by touching your phone to a reader at a checkout register. If your device doesn't have a payment app, you can browse Google Play™ to install payment apps.
  • To use 'Tap & pay', NFC must be turned on.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Apps & notifications
     Apps and notifications icon.
  3. Tap
    Advanced
     Down arrow icon.
  4. Tap
    Special app access
    .
  5. Tap
    Tap & pay
    .
    All activated wallets are added under 'Tap & pay'.
    If multiple wallets are activated, a user can change the default by going to 'Tap & pay' then tap Payment default.
