Here's how to assign keypad shortcuts on your Journey V / Journey.
  1. From the main screen, select
    Menu
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

     Settings icon >
    Settings
     >
    Phone settings
    .
  3. Tap
    Navigation keys
    .
  4. Highlight then select any of the following:
    • Left navigation
    • Right navigation
    • Up navigation
    • Down navigation
