To customize the Home screen on your Galaxy A10e, do any of the following:
- Add Apps
- Add Widgets
- Add / Remove Folders
- Remove Apps / Widgets
- Set Wallpaper
Add Apps
- From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
- Touch and hold an app.
- Drag and drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen location.For the app to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space within the selected Home screen.
Add Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
- TapWidgets(at the bottom).
- Touch and hold a widget.
- Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen location then release.For the widget to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space on the screen.
- If applicable, tap additional options to activate widget.Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
Add / Remove Folders
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email).
- Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Calendar) then release.A folder containing the shortcuts is created (titled Unnamed Folder). To rename the folder:
- TapFolder Name(at the top).
- Enter a name for the folder then tapDone(lower-right).
To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
Remove Apps / Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold the item until the menu appears then release.
- Tap the applicable option:
- Select items
- Remove from Home
- Disable or UninstallVaries depending on the app.
Set Wallpaper
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
- TapWallpapers(lower-left).
- Perform one of the following:
- To use an existing wallpaper image:
- TapMy wallpapers.
- Select a wallpaper image from the list.
- Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, Home and lock screens).
- To confirm, tapSet on(at the bottom).
- To use an image from your gallery:
- TapFrom Gallery.If prompted, review the location information message then tapAllow.
- Locate then select the preferred picture.
- TapDone(upper-right).
- Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, Home and lock screens).
- TapSet on(at the bottom).
