Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your Galaxy Note10 / Note10+ / Note10+ 5G makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove or arrange apps, use widgets or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Touch and hold an app.
  3. Drag-and-drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen.

Add Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Locate then select an app.
  4. Touch and hold a widget.
  5. Drag-and-drop the widget onto the preferred Home screen location.
  6. If applicable, tap additional options to activate widget.

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an app (e.g., Email, My Verizon, etc.).
  2. Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Calendar) to add an unnamed folder.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To rename the folder:
      1. Tap the
        Folder Name
        .
      2. Enter or edit the name then tap
        Done
        .
    • To remove a folder:
      1. Drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, etc.) until the menu appears then release.
  2. Tap the applicable option:
    • Select items
    • Remove from Home
    • Uninstall
    • App info

Set Wallpaper

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Tap
    Wallpapers
    .
  3. From the 'My wallpapers' section, tap
    View all
    .
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • To use an existing wallpaper image:
      1. Select a wallpaper image from the list.
      2. Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, Home and lock screens).
      3. Tap
        Set as wallpaper
        .
    • To use an image from your gallery:
      1. Tap
        From Gallery
        .
      2. Locate then select the preferred picture.
      3. Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, Home and lock screens).
      4. Tap
        Set as wallpaper
