Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

By adjusting screen settings (e.g., Screen saver, Screen timeout, Display size and text, etc.) on your Pixel 4 / 4 XL, you can reduce eye strain, improve visibility and extend battery life.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app.

  2. Tap
    Display
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To adjust brightness settings:
      1. Tap
        Brightness level
         then adjust the slider as preferred.
      2. Tap
        Adaptive brightness
         to turn on or off.
    • To adjust display / font settings:
      1. Tap
        Screen timeout
        then select an option (e.g., 30 seconds, 2 minutes, etc.).
      2. Tap
        Display size and text
         then adjust the slider as preferred for 'Font size' and 'Display size'.
