Reset Network Settings

Resetting network settings on your Pixel 4 / 4 XL can help fix problems with connecting to a Wi-Fi network or mobile data, or pairing a Bluetooth® device.

Before you begin

Bluetooth and cellular and Wi-Fi network settings (including saved networks and passwords) are cleared or restored to default values by completing the steps below.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    System
    Reset options
    .
  3. Tap
    Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth
    .
    If using a physical SIM and eSIM, tap to choose the network name (bottom-center) you want to reset.
  4. Tap
    Reset settings
    .
    Tap
    Erase downloaded SIMs
     to select the option to erase from the device.
  5. If prompted, enter the PIN, password or pattern then tap
    Reset settings
     to confirm.
