Personalizing the Home screen on your motorola razr makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Touch and hold an app.
  3. Drag the shortcut to the desired Home screen then release.
    For the app to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.

Add Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    Widgets icon.
  3. Touch and hold a widget.
  4. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space on the screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
  5. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.
    Options vary depending upon the type of widget.

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Moto).
  2. Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Gmail) then release.
    A folder containing the shortcuts is created. To rename the folder:
    1. Tap the folder.
    2. Tap the
      Title bar
      .
    3. Enter a name then tap the
      Done icon
      on the on-screen keyboard.
      Alternatively, tap the Back navigation icon to save the name.
    To remove a folder, drag shortcuts out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.).
  2. Drag the item to 'Remove' Remove icon then release.

Set Wallpaper

  1. Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Wallpapers
    .
  3. Select a category (e.g., My photos, On-device wallpapers, Live Wallpapers, etc.)
  4. Locate then tap the preferred picture.
  5. To preview, tap 'Home screen' or 'Lock screen' (at the top).
  6. Adjust the crop area by sliding the image then tap the
    Save icon
    Save icon.
  7. Select any of the following:
    • Home screen
    • Lock screen
    • Home screen and lock screen
