Link / Unlink ContactsYour Galaxy A51 lets you organize your contacts based on your preference by merging the details of multiple entries or separating them.
Before you begin
The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (Gmail™, Microsoft® Exchange, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error, the info can be separated back into individual contacts.
Steps
- Open theContacts app.
- Do any of the following:
- To link a contact:
- Tap the3-dot Menu.
- TapSettings.
- TapManage contacts.
- TapMerge contacts.
- Select the contacts to link.
- TapMerge.
- To unlink a contact:
- Select a contact.
- TapStorage locations.
- TapUnlinklocated to the right of the contacts.
