Insert or Remove SD / Memory Card

If your Galaxy A51 is low on storage, use an SD card for extra space. Follow these steps to insert or remove it without losing data.

Before you begin

Don't try to insert or remove the SD / memory card while the device is powered on because it may harm the SD / memory card or the device.

Steps

  1. From the top edge of the device with the screen facing up, remove the card tray.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To insert SD / memory card: Ensure the gold contacts are facing down then press in on the card to lock into place.
      Insert SD card
    • To remove SD / memory card: With the tray removed, lift the SD / memory card from the tray.
      Remove SD card
  3. Re-insert the card tray.
