By managing Home Screen and Dock settings on your Apple® iPad®, you can create a more organized and efficient workspace tailored to your daily usage habits.

Before you begin

The steps below apply to the following iPad models:
  • iPad Pro
  • iPad (5th generation or later)
  • iPad Air (2nd generation or later)
  • iPad mini (4th generation or later)

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Home Screen & App Library
    .
  3. Tap the
    Use Large App Icons switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. Tap
    Add to Home Screen
     or
    App Library Only
    .
  5. Tap any of the following switches to turn on or off:
    • Show App in Library Dock
    • Show Suggested and Recent Apps in Dock switch
    • Show in App Library switch
