KYOCERA DuraXV Extreme - Insert / Remove SIM Card

Here's how to properly insert or remove a SIM card for your DuraXV Extreme.
Instructions on inserting / removing your SIM can help with activation issues / errors, browser connection problems and a blank or frozen screen.
Don't attempt to insert or remove the SIM card while the device is powered on. Doing so may harm the SIM card and/or the device.
  1. Unscrew (turn counterclockwise) then remove the battery cover.

  2. Lift then remove the battery.

  3. Lift the card protection flap.

  4. Do one of the following:
    • Insert SIM card
      With the gold contacts facing down and the cut off corner on the top left. Gently push the card in until it snaps into place.
      Insert the SIM Card
    • Remove SIM card
      Push the SIM card gently with your finger and then release the pressure. The card ejects itself.
      Remove the SIM Card
  5. Close the card protection flap.
  6. Insert the battery.
    Ensure the gold contacts line up then press down gently to secure.

  7. Replace the back cover over on the back of the phone, press down along the edges then screw it into place (turn clockwise) to secure.
