KYOCERA DuraXV Extreme - Move Media Files to / from Computer

Here's how to transfer pictures or videos between your DuraXV Extreme and a computer.
Only unprotected media files can be transferred using this method.
Pictures or videos can also be transferred to an SD / memory card.
  1. Connect the device to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
  2. From the main screen, select
    Menu
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

  3. Navigate:
    Tools & Settings
    Settings
    Phone Settings
    .
  4. Select
    USB Mode
    .
  5. Select
    Media device (MTP)
    .
  6. From the computer, open Windows Explorer / Finder.
    For Windows Explorer, press the
    Windows+E
     (Windows key logo+E)
    keys
     using the computer keyboard.
    For Finder, click the Finder icon located on the dock.
  7. Using Windows Explorer / Finder, create a new music folder in Removable Disk (X:).
    Removable Disk (X:) represents the SD Card installed in the device. This name may vary.
  8. Use the computer to copy video or picture files to / from the following folders:
    • DCIM/Camera
    • Download
    • Movies
    • Pictures
  9. To further organize files, create a subfolder in the newly created music folder and copy desired music files into it.
  10. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
