KYOCERA DuraXV Extreme - Manage Wireless Emergency Alerts

Here's how to manage emergency alerts (e.g., AMBER Alerts, etc.) for your DuraXV Extreme.
  1. From the main screen, select
    Menu
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

    Settings & Tools

  3. Select
    Settings
    .
  4. Select
    Wireless & networks
    .
  5. Select
    Wireless emergency Alerts
     .
  6. Press the
    left soft key
     Left soft key to choose Settings.
  7. Select an option:
    • Receive alerts
      1. Select the desired options:
        Option is selected when a check mark is present.
        • Extreme Alerts
        • Severe Alerts
        • AMBER Alert
        • Public Safety Alert
        • State/Local Test Alert
        • Spanish Alert
      2. Press the
        left soft key
         to choose Done when finished.
    • Cellbroadcast message
      • Highlight an option then select
        Set
        .
        • On
        • Off
    • Notification settings
      • Select an option:
        • Notifications
          • Highlight an option then select
            Set
            .
            • On
            • Off
        • Sound
          • Highlight an option then select
            Set
            .
            • On
            • Off
        • Vibrate
          • Highlight an option then select
            Set
            .
            • On
            • Off
        • Alert reminder
          • Highlight an option then select
            Set
            .
            • Once
            • Every 2 minutes
            • Every 15 minutes
            • Off
        • Speak alert message
          • Highlight an option then select
