Before you begin
Make sure a secure screen lock (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.) is set up.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- TapSecurity.
- From the 'Screen lock' section, tap theGear icon.
- Do any of the following:
- Tap any of the following to turn on or off:
- Make pattern visible
- Power button instantly locks
- TapLock after screen timeoutthen select an option (e.g., Immediately, 5 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.).
- TapLock screen message, enter a message on the lock screen then tapSave.
