LG Stylo 6 - Factory Data Reset (Powered On)

Here's how to factory / hard reset your Stylo 6 if the screen freezes or call, app, audio or sync issues occur.

Perform a factory data reset on your LG Stylo™ 6 only if necessary as it removes your Google™ account and all data including system data, app data and media.

Music, pictures and videos can be backed up to a computer.

Personal data (e.g., Wi-Fi passwords, browser bookmarks, etc.) can be backed up to Google's servers.

Open the

Settings app

An alternate reset method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.

Navigate:

System

Restart & reset

Tap

Factory data reset

Tap

Reset phone

If presented, enter the current unlock pattern, PIN or password.

If preferred, select

Erase SD card

to have content on the SD / memory card erased as well.

Selected when a checkmark is present.

To confirm, tap

Delete all

Allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.

If applicable, set up your device. If troubleshooting third-party apps, don't restore app data.
