Manage Home Screen Settings

Organizing the Home screen on your Galaxy Z Fold2 5G makes it easier to use. Resize the grid, move apps and hide unnecessary apps for faster access to your most-used features.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
    If unavailable, touch and hold a blank area of the Home screen then tap
    Home Screen Settings
    .
  2. Tap
    Home screen
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To select a Home Screen layout:
      1. Tap
        Home screen layout
        .
      2. Select an option (Home and Apps screen, Home screen only).
      3. Tap
        Apply
        .
    • To adjust the number of apps shown on the Home screen:
      1. Tap
        Home screen grid
        .
      2. Select an option (e.g., 4x5, 4x6, 5x5, 5x6) at the bottom.
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
    • To adjust the number of apps shown on the Apps screen:
      1. Tap
        Apps screen grid
        .
      2. Select an option (e.g., 4x5, 4x6, 5x5, 5x6) at the bottom.
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
    • To add / remove the Apps button on the Home screen:
      1. Tap
        Show Apps screen button on Home screen
         to turn on or off.
    • To hide apps:
      1. Tap
        Hide apps on Home and Apps screens
        .
      2. Select the preferred app(s).
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
