Before you begin

Don't try to insert or remove the SIM card while the device is powered on because it may harm the SIM card or the device.

Steps

  1. Locate the SIM tray on the lower-left edge of the device (display facing up), then remove the card tray.
    Use the insertion / removal tool (or a paperclip) to unlock the tray by inserting it into the provided slot then remove the card tray.

  2. Do one of the following:
    • To insert a SIM card: Insert the SIM card into the tray (gold contacts facing up). Ensure the card fits into place.
    • To remove a SIM card: Once the tray is removed, lift the SIM card from the tray.
  3. Re-insert the card tray then press it into place.
