Camera options

Settings

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Camera
     Camera icon (lower-right).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of the display then tap
    Camera
    .
  2. Tap
    Settings
     Camera Settings icon.
  3. Tap any of the following options to turn on On switch icon or off Off switch icon :
    • Scene optimizer
    • Shot suggestions
    • Scan QR codes
    • Save selfies as previewed
    • High efficiency pictures
    • Video stabilization
    • Reduce file size
    • Auto HDR
    • Grid lines
    • Location tags
    • Shutter sound
    • Watermark
  4. Tap
    Shooting Methods
     then tap any of the following options to turn on or off:
    • Floating Shutter button
    • Show palm
  5. Tap
    Press Volume key to
     then select an option (e.g., Take picture or record video, Zoom, etc.).
  6. Tap the
    Back icon
     Back icon  to return to the Camera.

Flash

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Camera
     Camera icon (lower-right).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of the display then tap
    Camera
    .
  2. Tap the
    Flash icon
     Flash icon.
  3. Select an option:
    • Off
    • Auto
    • On

Self-timer

Used to select the length of the delay before the camera takes a photo automatically.
  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Camera
     Camera icon (lower-right).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of the display then tap
    Camera
    .
  2. Tap the
    Self-timer icon
     Timer icon.
  3. Select an option:
    • Off
    • 2 secs
    • 5 secs
    • 10 secs

Ratio

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Camera
     Camera icon (lower-right).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of the display then tap
    Camera
    .
  2. Tap the
    Ratio icon
     Ratio icon.
  3. Select an option:
    Options vary depending on orientation of the tablet.
    • 4:3
    • 16:9
    • 1:1
    • Full

Motion Photo

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Camera
     Camera icon (lower-right).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of the display then tap
    Camera
    .
  2. Tap the
    Motion photo icon
     Motion photo icon  to capture a few seconds of action leading up to when the shutter button is released.
    Motion photo is on when icon appears yellow.

Filters

Used to apply a beauty or filter effect.
  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Camera
     Camera icon (lower-right).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of the display then tap
    Camera
    .
  2. Tap the
    Filters icon
     Filters icon.
  3. Select 'Filters', 'My Filters' or 'Face' then swipe up or down to choose a preset effect (e.g., Warm, Cool, Lolli, etc.).
    Filter names appear to the left.

Switch Camera

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Camera
     Camera icon (lower-right).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of the display then tap
    Camera
    .
  2. On the photo preview screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display or tap the
    Camera Facing icon
     Camera Facing icon to switch between rear and front-facing camera.

Shooting Modes

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Camera
     Camera icon (lower-right).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of the display then tap
    Camera
    .
  2. To change the camera mode, swipe left or right to select an option (e.g., Photo, Video, etc.).
    If necessary, tap
    MORE
     to show additional shooting modes.

Zoom

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Camera
     Camera icon (lower-right).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of the display then tap
    Camera
    .
  2. Touch and hold the
    Zoom icon
     Wide angle  then move the
    slider
     up or down to zoom in or out.
    Tap the
    Zoom icon
     to quickly select 1x optical zoom or the
    Ultra wide angle icon
     Ultra Wide angle  to quickly select .5 optical zoom.
