Preferred Method

  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the Power off prompt appears then release.
    If the device is unresponsive, attempt the alternate method.
  2. Tap
    Power off and restart
    .
  3. Tap
    RESTART
     to confirm.
    If your device won't power back on, partially charge the device then retry.

Alternate Method

  1. Press and hold the
    Power
     and
    Volume down buttons
     until the device restarts (approx. 10 seconds).
    This process may cause the device to take a screenshot.
