LG G Pad 5 10.1 FHD - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your LG G Pad 10.1 FHD.
For the fingerprint scanner on your LG G Pad 5™ 10.1 FHD to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Lock screen & security
    .
  3. From the 'BIOMETRICS' section, tap
    Fingerprints
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. Review the message then tap
        NEXT
        .
      2. Using on-screen prompts as a guide, tap the
        fingerprint sensor
         multiple times to scan your fingerprint.

      3. Once the fingerprint is added, tap
        OK
        .
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Using on-screen prompts as a guide, tap the
        fingerprint sensor
         multiple times to scan your fingerprint.
      3. Once the fingerprint is added, tap OK if finished or ADD MORE to continue adding fingerprints.
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. From the FINGERPRINTS section, tap the
        Delete icon
         Delete icon to the right of the fingerprint you wish to remove.
      2. Tap
        DELETE
