The Silence Junk Callers feature on your Apple® iPhone® directs calls from numbers not in your contacts to voicemail to help minimize disturbances from unsolicited calls.

Before you begin

If an emergency call is placed, Silence Junk Callers is temporarily disabled for 24 hours.
Calls identified by Verizon as intentional spam or fraud are silenced and automatically sent to voicemail. The Call Filter App must be installed for full functionality.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Apps
    Phone
    Call Blocking & Identification
    .
  3. Tap the
    Silence Junk Callers switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. From the Call Identification Apps section, tap the applicable switch next to the desired app to turn on or off.
