TCL TAB FAMILY EDITION - Restart in Safe Mode

Safe mode is a diagnostic state on your TCL TAB FAMILY EDITION that only runs system apps so you can isolate if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until 'Power off' appears on the screen then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
    .
  3. From the 'Reboot in safe mode' prompt, tap
    TURN ON SAFE MODE
    .
    This process may take up to 30 seconds to complete.
    Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower left of the screen.

  4. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality.
