TCL TAB FAMILY EDITION - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your TCL TAB FAMILY EDITION.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. Remove the rubber bumper cover or peel back the upper-right corner to uncover the fingerprint sensor (on the power button).
  3. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    Fingerprint
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. From the 'Unlock with fingerprint" screen, review info then tap
        Next
        .
      2. Locate the sensor (Power button), follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint then repeat as necessary until the process completes.
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
      4. Tap the
        Unlock device switch
         to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Locate the sensor (Power button), follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint then repeat as necessary until the process completes.
      3. Tap 'Done' if finished or tap 'Add another' to continue adding fingerprints.
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Tap the
        Delete icon
         Delete icon located to the right of the corresponding fingerprint.
      2. To confirm, tap
        DELETE
