Arris NVG558 Router - Upgrade the Firmware

Here's how to update the firmware / software on your NVG558 router.
Firmware updates are pushed to the device via OTA (over-the-air). If the device isn't showing the current update, complete the following:
  1. Power cycle the device off then back on.
  2. Check that the update is completed.
  3. If the update is not showing current, complete a Factory Data Reset (FDR).
