Adding a Google™ (Gmail™) account to your Galaxy S21 5G / S21+ 5G / S21 Ultra 5G lets you access email, apps, and services, as well as sync your data across multiple devices.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Manage accounts
    Add account
    .
  3. Tap
    Google
    .
  4. Enter the email address for your Google account then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Enter the password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. Select who will be using the device then tap
    Next
    .
  7. To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap
    I agree
    .
  8. From the 'Never lose your contacts' screen, tap
    Turn on Backup
     or
    Don't turn on
    .
  9. From the 'You're signed in' screen, tap a suggestion to manage (e.g., recovery email, home address, etc.) or tap
    Not now
    .
  10. If preferred, tap the
    Back up device data switch
     to turn on or off then tap
    Accept
    .
