Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

By adjusting screen settings (e.g., Screen zoom, Screen timeout, Screen zoom, etc.) on your Galaxy S21 5G / S21+ 5G / S21 Ultra 5G, you can reduce eye strain, improve visibility and extend battery life.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Display
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To adjust brightness:
      1. From the Brightness section, slide the
        Brightness bar
         to the preferred level.
      2. Tap
        Adaptive brightness
         to turn on or off.
    • To adjust font settings:
      1. Tap
        Font size and style
        .
      2. Tap
        Font style
         then select an option (e.g., Default, SamsungOne, etc.).
      3. Tap the
        Bold font switch
         to turn on or off.
      4. Touch and hold the
        blue dot
         then drag it left or right to adjust the font size.
      5. Tap the
        Back arrow icon
         to save and return to the Display settings screen.
    • To adjust display settings:
      1. Tap
        Screen zoom
        , touch and hold the
        blue dot
         then drag it to the preferred option.
      2. Tap
        Screen timeout
         then select an option (e.g., 15 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.).
