Certain pre-installed apps on your Galaxy S21 5G / S21+ 5G / S21 Ultra 5G can't be removed. Disabling them can free up space and declutter your device, while enabling them returns functionality.

Before you begin

Disabling an app may cause related apps to malfunction.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To disable an app:
      1. Select the applicable app.
      2. Tap
        Disable
         then tap
        Disable app
         to confirm.
        If the Disable option isn't available, tap
        Force stop
         then tap
        OK
        .
      3. If prompted to replace the app with the factory version, tap
        OK
         to confirm.
    • To enable an app:
      1. Select the applicable app.
      2. Tap
        Enable
