Manage Home Screen SettingsOrganizing the Home screen on your Galaxy S21 5G / S21+ 5G / S21 Ultra 5G makes it easier to use. Resize the grid, move apps and hide unnecessary apps for faster access to your most-used features.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- TapHome screen.
- Do any of the following:
- To select the Home screen layout:
- TapHome screen layout.
- SelectHome and Apps screensorHome screen only.
- TapApply.
- To adjust the number of apps shown on the Home screen:
- Tap theHome screen grid.
- Select an option (e.g., 4x6, 5x6) at the bottom.
- TapDone.
- To adjust the number of apps shown on the apps screen:
- TapApps screen grid.
- Select an option (4x6, 5x6) at the bottom.
- TapDone.
- To rearrange icons and remove empty spaces:
- From the apps screen, tap the3-dot Menu.
- TapClean up pages.
- TapOKthen tapApply.
- To add / remove apps button on Home screen:
- TapShow Apps screen button on Home screento turn on or off.
- To hide apps:
- TapHide apps on the Home and Apps screens.
- Select the preferred apps.
- TapDone.
