Samsung Galaxy S21 5G / S21+ 5G / S21 Ultra 5G - Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock

Here's how to set up, change or disable the screen lock option (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.) for your Galaxy S21 5G / S21+ 5G / S21 Ultra 5G.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Lock screen and AOD
    Screen lock and biometrics
    .
    If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Set up Pattern
      1. Tap
        Pattern
        .
      2. Draw an unlock pattern that connects at least 4 dots then tap
        Continue
        .
      3. Draw the same pattern again then tap
        Confirm
        .
    • Set up PIN
      1. Tap
        PIN
        .
      2. Enter a numeric PIN that's 4 to 16 digits then tap
        Continue
        .
      3. Re-enter the numeric PIN then tap
        OK
        .
    • Set up Password
      1. Tap
        Password
      2. Enter a password that's 4 to 16 characters and contains at least one letter then tap
        Continue
        .
        To view the password as it is being entered, tap the
        Show password icon
         Show password icon.
      3. Re-enter the password then tap
        OK
        .
    • Disable Screen Lock
      1. Tap 'None' or 'Swipe'.
      2. If prompted, review the info about biometric data (Face, Fingerprints) then tap
        Remove data
        .
