Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G UW - Restart in Safe Mode

Restarting your DuraForce Ultra 5G UW in Safe Mode puts it into a diagnostic state that only runs system apps so you can determine if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     on the right edge of the device until the 'Power' option appears on the screen then release and tap
    Power
    .
    An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
     until 'Restart in Safe Mode' screen appears.
  3. From the 'Restart in safe mode' prompt, tap
    OK
    .
    This process may take up to 60 seconds to complete.
    Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock / Home screen.
