Add / Remove Speed Dial Number

Setting up speed dial entries on your Galaxy A42 5G allows you to call important phone numbers quickly and easily.

Steps

Open the

Phone app

From the Contacts tab, tap the

3-dot Menu

Tap

Speed dial numbers

Do one of the following:

Add a speed dial:

Select an unassigned speed dial entry (e.g., 2, 3, 4, etc.) from the

Dropdown Menu

From the Enter name or number field, enter a contact name or 10-digit phone number

To remove a speed dial:

Tap the

Remove icon

next the corresponding speed dial entry.
