Choose whether messages and alerts show in full, remain private or stay silent while the screen on your Galaxy A42 5G is locked.

Before you begin

Lock screen notifications are only available if a screen lock is enabled.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Lock screen notifications
    .
  3. Tap the
    Notifications switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. When on, configure any of the following:
    • Hide content
    • Notifications to show
    • Tap the
      Show on Always On Display switch
       to turn on or off.
