Orbic Myra 5G - Manage RTT Settings

Here's how to use the real-time text (RTT) functionality on your Orbic Myra 5G.
Real-time text (RTT) is text transmitted instantly as it is typed or created. Recipients can immediately read the message while it is being written, without waiting or the need for an additional device.

Enable / Disable RTT

  1. From a Home screen on your on your Orbic® Myra 5G™, tap the
    Phone icon
     (lower-left).
    If unavailable, swipe up to display all apps then tap
    Phone
    .
  2. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) then tap
    Settings
    .
  3. Tap
    Calls
    .
  4. Tap
    IMS Settings
    .
  5. Tap the
    RTT switch
    to turn on On switch or off Off switch.
    When RTT is enabled on both devices no audio is heard on the call. If you aren't hearing audio make sure RTT is turned off.

Make a Call with RTT

  1. From a Home screen , tap the
    Phone icon
     and make a call.
  2. Once the call connects, type in the message field.
    Below is an example of a call connected with RTT.

End an RTT Call

  1. While on a call, tap the
    End icon
     (upper-left) to end the call.
