Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite - Insert / Remove SIM Card

Here's how to properly insert or remove a SIM card for your Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.
  • Don't attempt to insert / remove the SIM card while the device is powered on. Doing so may harm the SIM card and/or the device.
  • Don't modify or alter your SIM card.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
    To power off the device, press and hold the
    Power / Side button
     and
    Volume down button
     (top edge) until the 'Power off' prompt appears then release and tap
    Power off
    .
  2. From the top-left edge of the device (display facing up), remove the card tray.
    Use the insertion / removal tool (or a paperclip) to unlock the tray by inserting it into the provided slot then remove the tray.
  3. Do one of the following:
    Don't touch the gold contacts on your SIM card as doing so could damage the card.
    • Insert SIM card
      Insert the SIM card with the gold contacts facing the back of the tablet. Ensure the gold contacts are facing up and the notch is aligned with the SIM tray.
    • Remove SIM card
      From the bottom of the card, carefully lift to remove. To assist, use the opening on the opposite side of the tray to dislodge (using a paperclip or similar tool).
  4. Insert the card tray.
    Press it back into its slot until it clicks, making sure it's secure.
